I teach 6 classes of Physical Science (PS) at Meigs Magnet School. I have been teaching middle school science since 1986. My teaching career began in ernest at Hume-Fogg teaching Geometry & Physics. I then moved to J.T. Moore Middle School where I taught IPS and 8th grade General Science. I came to Meigs in the fall of 1996.
I have a B.S. from David Lipscomb, an M.Ed. from Trevecca and have taken science coursework at MTSU, Volunteer State, UTK, Samford University, Tennessee Tech., and TSU. My wife is an itinerant teacher for the Special Education Department of Metro-Nashville Schools and we have a child, Andy, who attends a Metro School and plays soccer and ice hockey.
Among my outside interests are camping, geneology, ice hockey, and model railroading.
